Call forwarding is normally a basic feature of both landline and VoIP phones. But VoIP has an advanced version of this facility which packs many useful and innovative features which no traditional phone could provide.

This is because with this advanced feature you never miss a call while you are out on business, visiting your friends, shopping or commuting to your workplace.

With advanced call forwarding you have the option to send your call to your cell phone or the telephone where you will be available. With this feature on, your VoIP phone will now ring all the phones that you have indicated for forwarding in turn so you will not miss any important call.

Special Options

Some VoIP providers have a feature with which you get the choice to program certain phone numbers so that only calls from the selected numbers are forwarded.

You can also get internet phones which allow you to set the forwarding function in such a way that the incoming call will be diverted only if your phone is not picked up after a certain number of rings or is switched off.
