VoIP Feature: Three-Way Call

At the first glance the ability to make a three-way call on your VoIP phone may not sound anything special - this is something which you can do with most wired telephones.

What is special here is that with VoIP phones it is much easier to connect three persons to a conference call even if the persons you call live abroad.

More important, here you pay a fraction of the cost of a three-way connection with a conventional wired phone.

How Three-Way Calling Works With VoIP

The typical way to create a conference call with your internet telephone goes like this.

Call one person normally on your internet phone. Then press a button and dial the second person. After the second person comes online, press another button and your conference call is on. Most VoIP providers would offer you a three-way conference call ability but some go much further by letting you connect with as many as ten persons at the same time.

This feature is highly useful for your business as well as for keeping in touch with more than one family member or friend at a time without leaving your home.
