VoIP
virtual numbers is
a very interesting VoIP feature: It allows you to have virtual presence in different locations inside
the country or abroad on one internet primary phone.
How
VoIP Virtual Numbers Work:
Say
you are in New York and would like that your friends, relatives or business
contacts in California, Colorado or London are able to call you at local rates.
So what you do is to get different virtual numbers for each of these places and
get them directed to your primary phone in New York automatically.
While
these numbers are local to your callers, they don't cost you much either. Most
VoIP service providers would charge you something around $5 a month for each
virtual number - a great way to have local presence in a number of places for
business and keeping in contact with relatives.
This
feature is like the
Area Code
Selection feature but more convenient - here you can use one phone to remain
"local" with a number of contacts in different places cheaply.
